Awww! We’re buying a property in the mountains right now and I’m quite freaked out by the prospect of ever seeing a bear, but I have to admit that your bear is pretty cute, especially all wet! 🙂
You should be fine, just follow good bear protocol and be aware of your surroundings. In most cases, they only visit at dusk, but this guy/gal came around in the middle of the day. The Colorado Division of Wildlife has some good education on living with bears:
