Well, I sure whipped that one out fast!

I loved the little purple scarf I did for myself so much, I cast on another single skein of sock yarn in a lovely dark blue/green and black stripe to make another Age of Brass and Steam scarf for a friend. (no worries, she doesn’t read the blog, so it will still be a surprise)

It went very quickly – very quickly indeed and Sunday I soaked it, Monday it was drying, and now here it is.

And one with the inspector-cat:

doesn’t her fur look great against that backdrop?

And one close-up of the edge:

eyelet edging

I did the edging a little differently – I didn’t do the knit row on the purl side, but leaped right into the eyelet row and then followed it with a knit row and a bind-off row. I did this on the purple version too and I like it better than the original.
