It really doesn’t seem right

I had to order some yarn from one of my all-time favorite yarn stores, The Loopy Ewe, and I’ll tell you why. My wonderful friends gave me a set of signature needles before I left Colorado (along with a lovely hand-carved yarn bucket, which I originally thought was an ice bucket – I can be dense like that). So, I got the needles in the size I wanted (1) and then looked around and … hmmm, there’s no yarn to start a pair of socks with.

No matter that I already have two pairs on the needles – that’s entirely irrelevant. I wanted a fresh skein to start a pair of fresh summery socks with using my new needles. So, I want online and used my frequent buyer cash and had a skein of Madelintosh Light sent to my P.O. Box.

Sheri and the Loopy Elves always put a treat in the box and a little note. This time, my note read:

It doesn't seem right

“that just doesn’t seem right :-(” pointing to my address with California in it, not Colorado.

It doesn’t seem right to me either. Still getting used to the idea and I really don’t know how long it will take.

What does feel right right now is knitting time and I think that’s what I’m going to do. It’s Friday. My work is done. It’s time for knitting. That will make me feel better.

It helps so much that I can order yarn from The Loopy Ewe no matter where I go.
