It was a blocking kind of Saturday night

OK, so we don’t lead extraordinarily exciting lives. In fact, today was another working day for me, but I did get to do a bunch of blocking in late afternoon.

Blocking Saturday night

This is the Habu cowl:

I can’t wait to wear this wrapped a few times – it’s so much softer after getting soaked. The beads give it just a touch of jazz, I think.

The blue butternut scarf:

This yarn started out soft and only gets better. The pattern is fun – another Anne Hanson Knitspot pattern. I can’t resist her patterns … and in keeping with the Knitspot theme, the┬áivory Aria Delicato:

This yarn is a lovely soft wool bought at the Taos Wool Festival in 2011.

And I can’t even remember what cowl pattern this is … wow, is this pretty! It should be lovely in the fall when things get cool and damp and you want just a touch of color around the collar
