Weekend Knitting Wrap up

Last weekend, I spent an afternoon finishing up some fingerless gloves before a trip to Colorado. I designed these myself so that the fabric would bunch around my wrists and keep them warm. This is the last of the yarn I got in Vienna. You can see the thumb hole here:

It didn’t take too many rows of knitting to create the thumb, after about 6 I started ribbing the rows so that the yarn would pull into the thumb and keep it warm.

Nice and bunchy – just how I designed them!

Nice margarita to keep me company.

Just filled the bird feeders too so I had some fun sights to see and plenty of chirping!
